Beautiful old hotel from 1799
Opslået 31. jul. 2022 på HotelsFantastisk smukt gammelt hotel fra 1799. Hyggeligt og charmerende med fantastisk beliggenhed og smuk og romantisk gårdhave. Hotellet er holdt i original stil og er smukt og hyggeligt men sengene og hovedpuderne er dårlige og kunne trænge til en opdatering

Very nice clasic hotel who has got his 5 stars only by age and its place i the middel of the town no spa or anything just an very nice charming hotel for its age. Ther service in the restaurant was not 5 star.

The staff and service of the hotel were very nice and helpful. The hotel kindly upgraded our room when we checked in. The room was spacious, with a separate toilet, bathroom, and closet hallway. However, the separation of all the spaces felt a bit inconvenient. The rooms are fairly old and the location and number of outlets were inconvenient. Even though an espresso maker was provided, I couldn't find an easy to reach outlet to plug it into. The breakfast also felt very bare for the price (30 euros per person). We had it included with our room when booking, but if I had to pay the breakfast price on top of the room like I did with other hotels, I would have been extremely disappointed. For hot items, there was only scrambled eggs and ratatouille. It was otherwise a normal cold breakfast buffet with bread, cheese, cold meats, yogurt, and fruit. The bread was very delicious though. At other hotels, I've had bacon, sausages, and quiche at the breakfast buffet for a much lower price. Even though this hotel is a five star hotel, the accomodations felt much worse than the 4 star hotels I've stayed during my trip. There were makeup foundation stains on the bathroom mirror and the bathtub had black stains on the caulking that should have been scrubbed off. The history of the hotel is cool, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Overall it is a great hotel. However, AC in one of our two rooms does not work. When you turned on AC, it feels like heater is working and room temp keeps going up. The hotel staff showed up and did not bother to fix it. He just asked us to turn it off and open the window.
