The Chesa Sela is a beautiful, historic Engadine house (1641). It is located in the middle of the traffic-calmed old village centre of Silvaplana. Shops, restaurants and a multi-storey car park are in the immediate vicinity, the local bus stop is practically on the doorstep and the Engadine bus stop is a two-minute walk away. Skiing and cross-country skiing in the immediate vicinity, hiking and cycling in summer and many cultural events. The house was used as a family home for decades. The original interior has been largely retained, but the old has been combined with the new with the necessary restraint. The 6 ½ rooms are spread over two floors. The house has a spacious entrance with a hall two storeys high. The beautiful, old stüva (parlour or living room) with an old stove is typical of the area and invites you to eat, linger and socialise. A large kitchen, which can also be used for dining, and 4 bedrooms complete the whole. The two bathrooms are no longer up to date, but do not detract from the overall impression. Engadine houses traditionally have small windows and are therefore rather dark inside without lighting. The house therefore has numerous light fittings inside. You have the feeling of being at home in the Engadin in this property. The house has a garden for shared use. There is a garage space in the underground car park with direct internal access to the house. Just around the corner there is also a workspace provided by the municipality of Silvaplana for free use with high-speed Internet, a printer and a lounge.

On 580 kilometres of hiking trails across all mountains or by mountain bike on 400 kilometres of pleasure trails: the Upper Engadine offers a first-class network of hiking trails and mountain bike trails in the midst of the pristine mountain world and the inspiring Upper Engadine lake district. The four flow trails on the Corviglia provide the right flow. The lakes of the Upper Engadin are also popular with sports enthusiasts. Kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling: the possibilities are almost endless. The expanse of the inspiring high valley can be experienced in a particularly impressive way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And in addition to the wide range of sporting activities on offer, there are also first-class cultural attractions such as a visit to the museum or the numerous art galleries in the various villages.
In winter, 350 kilometres of the finest pistes in the Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza ski areas and the family-friendly Zuoz invite you to enjoy true skiing and snowboarding fun. Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen lakes of the Upper Engadine sparkle with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl. Families can enjoy the Engadin sunshine on a carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex, or sledge down into the valley on the 4.2 km long, winding Muottas Muragl toboggan run.
