Great apartment between the locals.
Me and my girlfriend have stayed here during summer for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The room was exactly as advertised and very clean. When we arrived at the building we were greeted by one of our 2 hosts. He showed us the way to the apartment and gave us a tour of the rooms and facilities. Everything we could need was available and our host made sure that we had nothing to worry about on arrival.
Since there was no reception desk the hosts created a Whatsapp/Messenger group so we could ask them questions about the apartment or things to see on the island. We asked them for a good restaurant, and where to go for a boat trip. They were very helpful and responded within minutes every time.
Halfway through the week the cleaning crew came by and left everything spotless and tidy. 10/10 housekeeping.
The bed was quite firm but comfortable, and the rest of the furniture was also in good shape. All the windows around the apartment have sliding doors, so there was enough ventilation to deal with the heat in summer.
Being situated in Puerto de la Cruz, there is less tourism than in the south. This was a plus for us, but it might be good to rent a car when you are staying here. We have made several trips to the south to visit Playa de Las Americas and Siam Park. There is a small stony beach in front of the apartment, and a much bigger sand beach 10 minutes walking away.
I would stay at this place again if I visit Tenerife next time.
