We recently stayed at TRYP and were very pleased with the overall experience. For the price, the hotel offers great value. The location is excellent—close to SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, Aquatica, and the Convention Center. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, which made everything super convenient.
The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming, especially Angela, who stood out with her upbeat and friendly attitude—she made check-in a pleasure.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, a word of caution: if you’re booking a mobility capable room, be sure to clarify what type you’re getting. I’ve stayed in one before without issue, but since I checked in very late and the hotel was fully booked, I was placed in one of the two truly mobility-accessible rooms. It had a roll-in shower with a wand shower head, which was difficult for my daughter and me to use. It wasn’t ideal, but we made it work.
A special shoutout to the housekeeping team—my daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch in the room after checkout. I wasn’t expecting it to be found, but thankfully, TRYP has honest staff. Huge thanks to Jose for ensuring it was returned to the front desk. It really meant a lot.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again—just not in the mobility room. Great value, great location, and outstanding customer service.
