My 70 y.o. parents and I were showed off by unfriendly bouncer like man-staff at atrium palm tree restaurant - the Landmarks only true USP - an evening we wanted to enjoy a glass of champagne in the otherwise open but empty (a part from a few diners) restaurant. Absolutely uacceptable to deny us entry. Whether Hotel policy or employee gone rogue: Terrible. And just sad.

Dear Guest,
I am writing to you regarding your recent visit to the Landmark London.
First and foremost, I would like to thank you for taking the time and effort to share your feedback following your visit.
May I say how sorry I was, however, to learn that you did not leave the hotel entirely satisfied.
I was very concerned to learn that you were disappointed with the service levels you have received when you have tried to enjoy glass of champagne with your parents in our Winter Garden. Our Winter Garden Restaurant served lunch, afternoon tea and dinner to our guests and then we also have Mirror Bar available for guests that would like to join us for drinks only. If we have space in our lobby or under the stairs in the main lobby we are happy to accommodate our guests and I would like to apologize that you were not accommodated when you visit us.
I would like to assure you that I have personally shared your feedback with the Restaurant Manager in order to avoid similar shortcomings in the future.
This is not the standard of service we aim to achieve. Our commitment at the Hotel is to provide the finest in service and personal attention to everyone who visits so please rest assured that anything which falls short of this will not be tolerated.
I hope that your experience will not deter you from visiting our hotel again. Please contact me directly prior to your next visit so I can assure that you are looked after.
Kind regards,
Marcela Noble
