Beautiful Romantic Western Wagon that is well appointed for a once in a lifetime memorable night or two. The wagon is secluded and nestled at the fork of two streams with accent lighted wilderness and cliffside scenery. Deck, Patio Table, BBQ, and open firepit provide an ambience with the outdoors to gaze at the stars. For bedding down, step inside the Conestoga to a King Bed, full bath and shower, TV, Star-Link internet, Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee maker, and a beautifully designed decor for 2 Adult guests maximum. No Children.

Unfortunately we were in town for a wedding so we didn't get to use the fire pit but we will be coming back for a second stay! The wagon is so unique and the host, Chris, tours you through and tells you all about it and the campground. Its beautiful and well stocked for a relaxing weekend. Definitely would recommend for people who want a fun stay or outdoorsy people.

Had a wonderful stay in the Conestoga wagon! Set on a serene, wooded site that borders on a seasonal stream in an RV park. Completely private with absolutely everything you might need for your stay. Great outdoor patio, with covered table and chairs next to a fire pit and double grill. The inside of the wagon is much more spacious than it appears in the photos, and is extremely well appointed, with many special touches. And the bed…SO COMFORTABLE! Chris was great to work with. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Would definitely recommend for a unique, special getaway!

What a great experience for a quick getaway for our anniversary. The wagon is unique and cozy and the park was so peaceful and inviting. The hosts were fantastic and the check in process so seamless and personable. We have already suggested to lots of our friends and family.

Wonderful stay. Incredible amenities that go above and beyond expectations. I drink ALOT of coffee and usually have to bring extra k cups. Enough was provided, that I didn’t even need them. Seems small, but those small things matter!! Also, the bed was the MOST comfortable ever!

Staying in the covered wagon was such a unique and amazing experience! My girlfriend and I absolutely loved everything about it—the cozy atmosphere, location, and the thoughtful amenities. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here for Thanksgiving weekend. I only booked one night and upon arrival my husband thought it was so cozy he wanted to stay 2 nights. It was unique in nature, and had many sweet little attention to details. We slept like babies in the cozy king size bed with a down comforter. The heat source was plenty for a winter stay. The shower has more room than what you would think. The fire pit was so nice at night and kept the romantic feel for 19 degrees night.outsidedegree surprises

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Immediately on walking into the wagon, you realized how much thought and care the owners put into providing a comfortable setting for guest. We appreciated all the little extras from battery operated candles to sound cancelling machine.

The wagon was such a fun place to stay! The owners have thought of everything and provided so many little extras. It was super clean and comfortable. The whole experience was fantastic! So cute and clean. It’s tucked away in a private area of the RV park, backs up to tree/rock/creek area with a fire pit for relaxing and watching for wildlife. Really loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. I surprised my husband with staying here for his birthday. He was certainly not expecting this. It was certainly the most unique vacation experience we’ve had. The amount of thought the hosts provide in their amenities is clear. And it’s so clean and smells amazing. If I could bottle up the scent of the cabin and take it with me I would; it’s that wonderful. The air conditioner does a fabulous job, and it was a very comfortable stay. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

We stayed two nights while visiting family. The Conestoga Wagon was comfortable and very thoughtfully appointed. Wendy checked us in. She was very friendly and informative. The patio was a great place, day and night, to enjoy the lovely setting. We will definitely stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Great place, very clean, everyone was friendly and welcoming. the grounds are immaculate. The wagon surpassed expectations, a really neat place to stay, bed was exceptionally comfortable. We only stayed one night since we were on the road home, but if you want a place to stay in Peculiar, MO., this is definitely it. Thanks.

My partner and I thought our stay was great. The wagon was a fun touch to our history museum trip, and Chris is very communicative. The location is suited perfectly for a romantic getaway and we couldn’t have been happier with our Vrbo pick.

We stayed in a wagon, ya’ll! It is a beautiful handcrafted wagon reminiscent of the pioneer days and near the start of the famous Oregon Trail. Quiet and comfortable location in a well-kept RV Park with all the amenities we needed and then some. Loved the fire pit and serene outdoor space along with the comfy bed and cozy inside space. There is a storm shelter onsite, just across from the wagon. Definitely recommend for a unique stay for 1-2 people. Surprised my husband with it for a trip to the Kansas City area for a family event and it was well worth the extra 30 minutes or so to stay further out of town. Property owners and staff are friendly and communicative. Five stars!!

Great trip! Basically all the essentials were included! It was very clean! Wendy even made sure we grabbed some fresh popcorn to snack on after we traveled in.
