Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed, med fin udsigt over Palma bugten , rolige omgivelser . Restauranten om aftenen bar lidt præg af, at det var sidste uge på sæsonen.

Overprized hotel med skuffende kvalitet
Hotellet er lækkert med dejlig lokation direkte til Middelhavet. Morgenbuffet med stort og frisk udvalg. Men frokost- og aftenrestauranter har retter af middel standard og ikke noget specielt af et 5-stjernet hotel, og en hel del overpriced. Oveni de høje priser på drikke og mad af middel kvalitet og manglende kreativitet, opkræves der 7,5% service charge, hvilket var noget overraskende på de i forvejen dyre værelsespriser, som ikke var oplyst ved booking. Alt i alt overprized.

Melia De Mar is perfect and beautiful
I travel a lot both for business and for pleasure and I have stayed at many 5 star hotels - Melia De Mar is worth all of their 5 stars. The service was high class, the rooms large and very comfortable, all with a balcony facing the sea. The surroundings of the hotel breathtacking. I am 100% going to visit again. Nothing but good to say about our stay.

Det er 3.gang vi bor på dette hotel, grundet hotellets store service og beliggenhed. 3.gang var dog ikke helt på højde med de 2 første gange...Desværre!! Der var mangel på personale og renligheden var faldende på hotellet generelt. Vi betaler for et 5 stjernet hotel, men pt er det i vores øjne kun et 4 stjernet.

Ren luksus!
Alt var perfekt. Servicen var i top og alt levede op til vores forventninger. "We honour silence" siger hotellet, og det gør de i den grad.

Skønne udendørsarealer
Vi havde 3 dejlige dage på Hotellet. Vi nød især at være ude i haven hvor der var masser af hyggekroge under de flotte træer. Altanerne var også store og med en fantastisk udsigt over hele haven, poolen og havet. Morgenmaden var skøn, vi sad der til klokken 11.00 hver dag - fordi det var så hyggeligt..

Et dejligt ophold
Vi havde et pragtfuld ophold her på hotellet hvor vi var i en uge. Den personlige service var helt unik og det var ligegyldigt om det var ham der hjalp med bagagen eller den ansvarlige manager tilstede. Intet var et problem og altid var der hjælp at hente hvis nødvendigt. Vi boede på 5. Sal med en pragtfuld udsigt til hotelområdet samt over Middelhavet. De udendørs afslapningsfaciliteter så som swimming pool / spabad og restaurent samt solsenge mm. er også helt i top og hvis man ønsker at få sin solparasol flyttet i takt med at solen går over himmelen er det bare at sige til og det bliver udført med det samme - igen ikke noget problem. Vi vil ikke tøve med at anbefale dette hotel til andre der ønsker et unikt ophold på Mallorca i skønne omgivelser?

Fantastisk afslappende ferie
Hotellet ligger i Palma bugten, i første række, med egen strand. Beliggenheden er perfekt, med hurtig taxa adgang til Palma samtidig med fred og ro. Det blæser meget, hvilket er befriende i varmen, så kombineret med solen, så er det virkelig skønt med den naturlige brise der hele tiden kommer. Hotellet er et ægte 5 stjernet, med fantastisk service, gode restauranter, udsøgt beliggenhed og en uovertruffen udsigt. Vær opmærksom på at hotellet selv siger at alle hotel værelser har hav udsigt. En del værelser er dog begrænset af træer, så bed om et værelse hvor man ikke har træer i vejen. Hotellet er IKKE et familie hotel, da man skal være mindst 15 år. Det giver fred og ro. Et hotel ophold der kan varmt anbefales, vi skal helt sikkert tilbage snarest.

Melia de-Mar -lækkert hotel med fantastisk service
Lækkert hotel med fantastiske omgivelser - ALT personale yder max service og hjælp for at man skal føle sig rigtigt godt tilpas. Super lækker morgenbuffet - der mangler absolut intet.

Fantastisk ophold
Vi havde et fantastisk ophold på Melia de Mar. Værelset havde en udsigt lige ud over vandet, og servicen var bare helt i top. Faktisk syntes vi at det var endnu flottere i virkeligheden, end det viste på hotellets billeder.

En smule skuffende for 5-stjernet hotel
Hotellet ligger dejligt. Udsigten skøn - hvis man får et værelse med havudsigt og ikke udsigt ind i træer. Vi fik et værelse, som var forbundet med et andet - og selv om hotellet ikke var fuldt optaget - kom de gæster ind i værelset. Med det resultat at vi blev underholdt af al deres snak og rumsteren til ud på natten. Ubehageligt lydt. Film blev optaget på hotellet - det gav også en del uro. Buffet var ok, morgenmad dejlig.

Leider ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und weist den Charme der 90er Jahre auf. Das Umfeld um die Hotelanlage herum ist stark doch englische Touristen geprägt und bietet wenig Möglichkeiten für Gastronomie oder einen Barbesuch. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist dort aber gut aufgehoben. Ab 21:00 Uhr ist die Anlage wieder ausgestorben und da keine Kinder buchen können auch tagsüber ruhig und erholsam.

Amazing hotel! Everything is just perfect. The facilities are wonderful, everything is accessible: private beach, pool, spa access.. absolutely perfect. The staff are extremely friendly it’s insane, from room service, lobby, valet, everyone is constantly trying to help.

Service was excellent. Marian was exceptional helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Room was very nice and restaurants were also very good. Could have had some adult entertainment other than a piano and violin player. The only negative was that the only way to access the pool area was to walk down two flights of stairs. As my wife is somewhat handicapped it was a once a day trip to the pool.

Beautiful Hotel!
It was amazing!! From the moment we stepped in the service was incredible. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Especially those on the reception desk. They gave us great restaurant recommendations. They allowed us to have a late checkout on the Sunday which meant we could have a few extra hours by the pool and time to get ready before our flight home. Lunch by the pool was pricey but really delicious! Rooms were large and clean and had full sized bath products in the bathroom. Stunning sea views and a big balcony too! We can't wait to come back!

Pool area and views where Fantastic! The staff was friendly and most of them provided great service. We upgraded to Red level and was told we where getting a better room. The room was old and in need of a remodel. It was also very hot and the maximum cold on the a/c was 22 Celsius. When we told the front desk, they sent up maintenance and the a/c maximum was now 19,5 Celsius, and still very hot. We also had tiny ants in our room on the 7th floor. Also the common areas in this hotel was very hot, like the corridor outside the rooms, restaurants and other areas. At check-out we told them that we where not to happy about the temperature in the room. We where told an excuse that our room was at the end of the hotel and the a/c couldn't reach that far!!! We where also told that we would get a better room next time! No other compensation was offered! In my opinion this is NOT a 5 star hotel! I do NOT recommend this place and we will not come back!

The rooms and the grounds are great. However, the service was slow. The dinners plates included with the half board were not impressive. Good taste can be improved.
