Good hotel, but needs to smarten up

The check in was amazingly slow. I made a couple of comments via hotels.com and the management responded immediatly. They still need to improve their procedures to make things smooter.
The wifi leaves a lot to be desired. A lengthy procedure to got on-line, which requires an Indian mobile phone number, followed by further log-ins on the second day (new voucher). This only wifi access point that worked was not on the list the hotel provides
I had to ask for things like extra coffee supplies, and toilet paper. These were provided quickly
The hotel is clean, but dowdy. While the floor is cleaned daily, there are marks on the walls which have clearly been there for months, or more likely years.
The hallways and restaurant area could also do with fresh paint and more lighting.
This is a decent hotel, but it could easily be changed to a very good one
