“Very Impressed”

Scandic Sergel is centrally located, everything was within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. The room was good. If I need a hotel in Stockholm again, I wouldn't look for any other hotels.

Really great hotel in a central location behind the Kulturhouse. Large Scandanavian chain with high standards. The free breakfast was beyond abundant with great variety. Many organic food choices. Free internet is a plus.

“Excellent hotel”

The position of this hotel is excellent. If you are reasonably fit, don't waste money buying any kind of public transport ticket, because the four main areas of Stockholm are easily reached by foot. The hotel is literally a ten minute walk from the bus stop that arrives from the airport. Apart from the odd banging door, the hotel is very quiet and we slept really well. The breakfast is very good, although exactly the same every day. We were surprised at how large the room was. The view out the window was non-existent - it looked straight out onto another tall building, flats we think. There were no net curtains so we had to keep our curtains drawn most of the time for fear that someone could see straight in from the building opposite!

Perfect location, excellent buffet, friendly service, free internet....and a great value. We stayed there 7 nights and got a discount for staying so long. Walking distance to all great sights and shopping. Could not have asked for a better hotel.

Staff was very friendly. They had umbrellas to lend out. All spoke beautiful English. Breakfast was wonderful. Cereal, eggs, cold cuts, breads, yogurt, good coffee. Walked everywhere from here. Elevators never overcrowded even when busloads of tourists passed thru. Check in was 2 pm and check out was noon. Very convenient.
